Class 3 - Newsletter Monday 1st June

Hope you are all keeping well and enjoyed the sunshine over the half term week!

Thank you so much to all the parents who continue to post photos, videos and comments on Tapestry and email the school with their child’s work. I have been very impressed at the work the children have completed and I always reply!

Edie has been singing, George has been drawing and writing about woodlice, Shae has been making lego monster trucks, Jameson has been very busy writing letters, building with lego and growing delicious peas and strawberries and Isaac has completed fab drawings and writing all about ladybirds. Well done to you all!

As I write this, the Government has announced that the schools will be opened to more children from Monday. Please continue to check our school website for regular updates about this. Reception parents please note that the home learning tasks will be as far as possible, the same as the learning taking place in school. Thank you

Home learning

Reception: This week it is based on what we see in the Summer. Please see separate sheet for details.

In the planning, it mentions the Phonics bug club- the logins for Class 3 children are on a small laminated card stapled to the inside cover of your child’s reading record. If you have misplaced this, please don’t worry. If you contact the school, I can let you know your child’s log in details.

Year 1: This week it is based on rabbits. I wonder if any of you have rabbits at home? If you have, what are their names? Hope you enjoy learning more about them this week!

Hope you have a good week and thank you for your ongoing support!
