Hope you are all keeping well and have had a good week!

Please do continue to post photos, videos and comments on Tapestry or if your child is in Y1, please email the school. It is great to see what they are up to!

Shae has been busy practising his letter formation and reading his Imagination library book, George has been dressing up as spider man, drawing spider webs and animals from the what the ladybird heard book and Jameson has been looking at rhyming words.

Well done to you all!

  Home learning

Our literacy this week is based on worms and other minibeasts.

We will be looking at facts about worms, the worm story ‘Yucky worms’ by Vivian French, other minibeasts and creating our own minibeast too!

The Phonics continues to be revision of Phase 3 sounds and the tricky words.

Please keep going with this as it will really help your child as/when they return to school.

Our Maths this week: (Please see attached sheets for more details)

The Reception children will be continuing to use the White Rose maths home learning lessons for Early Years. This week it is based around ‘Superworm’ by Julia Donaldson and Axel Sheffler.

The Year 1 children will be continuing using the White Rose maths home learning lessons for Year 1.

Hope you have a good week and thank you for your ongoing support!
