Sports Day

As we are unable to hold our usual sports day at school this year, we hope you will all join us today and complete the online virtual sports day activity which can be accessed through the Class 5 homework page.

The children attending school today will also be having a go at this activity and it would be wonderful if all the children at home could take part too!

Home Learning

As part of this week’s home learning we are going to continue with this sports theme and have a closer look at the Olympics. The Olympics is an international sporting event which is held every 4 years and was first held by the Ancient Greeks hundreds and hundreds of years ago!

Summer Reading Challenge

Can I take this opportunity to remind you about the ‘Summer Reading Challenge’. Encouraging your child to read regularly throughout the Summer holidays is a great way to help them to keep up with their reading and prepare for Year 3 in September.
