Class 4 Newsletter - Monday 27th April
Dear Class 4,
We hope you have had a lovely week and have been out hunting for minibeasts in your gardens! Have you seen any? We have had a lot of bees in our back garden and I know there are a lot around at the moment so this week we thought we would do some work on bees. They are such important little creatures and do so much for us. One of the best things about bees is that they make honey! Here are a couple of recipes which include honey for you and your family to enjoy if you fancy it.
Honey Flapjacks

or if you’re lucky enough to still have any flour, you could try Grandma’s Honey Muffins

Of course you can always do a bit of research of your own into honey themed recipes!
There’s also a lovely story called ‘The Very Greedy Bee’ that you can find here:

We are missing you all very much and we hope that you are all keeping yourselves safe! If you haven’t done so already, take a look at the Rainbow Challenge and send some pictures in.
Also, please remember to keep reading! It has been great to see that some of you have been on ‘Bug Club’ but please remember to answer every question so that I can allocate new books once you have finished. If you don’t answer the questions, it doesn’t realise that you’ve read the book!
Enjoy this week’s activities. If there are any problems, please contact the school.
