Dear Class 4,  

We hope you have all had a lovely half term week! We are so lucky to have had gorgeous sunny weather all week so we hope you have really enjoyed getting out in the sunshine.

Some children are returning to school this week but for those who aren’t, we have set you some work on our new topic ‘Bounce!’ This gives you the perfect excuse to get outside and practise your ball skills such as throwing and catching with your hands, controlling and passing balls with your feet and of course, bouncing balls! We are starting our new topic by thinking about animals that bounce. We hope you enjoy learning about rabbits! During the week we will be having a look at ‘Peter Rabbit’, the famous rabbit story by Beatrix Potter (and there are many stories about Peter Rabbit on CBeebies as well as the super films), but here’s a different rabbit story to start you off:
