Dear Class 5,

I hope everyone has had a fantastic week. Where has all the lovely weather gone? I am hoping we see a lot more sunshine again this week! I hope you have all enjoyed learning about frogs? We are going to continue with the frog theme this week and do some work based around the traditional tale ‘The Frog Prince’. I remember my Grandad reading this book to me when I was a little girl and it was one of my favourite bedtime stories. I still like to read to myself everynight before I go to sleep. I have also recently discovered ‘audio books’ which are great if you just want to listen to a story rather than reading it yourself. Daisy and I have been listening to a few audio books together while we do some craft or jigsaws and even in the car. Our favourates so far have been ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’ by C.S. Lewis and ‘The Famous 5’ by Enid Blyton. I have included the link to access audio books on line as they currently have a range of free children/family books to download.
